Praise No Matter what
Psalms 145:1-5 1 I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever.
2 Every day I will praise you
and extol your name for ever and ever.
3 Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.
4 One generation commends your works to another;
they tell of your mighty acts.
5 They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty—
and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
After a year of illness, I just need to continue to praise my Lord. Am I completely healed? Not yet, but we live by faith and not by sight.
When David wrote this psalm. He employed an acrostic pattern, structuring each line beginning with the first letter of the alphabet and continuing in succession. One of the reasons this pattern is used is its usefulness in aiding in memorization. What tools do you use to help you memorize?
May we praise God from morning to night, knowing that all good things come from Him.
